BugBase

BugBase is a Continuous Vulnerability Assessment Platform where companies can host bug bounty programs and bug hunters can find and report bugs. You can set up security testing solutions within minutes and start receiving unique, vetted bug reports within hours.

My role at BugBase as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is to maintain the application & infrastructure, ship new features, manage the product roadmap, and ensure the company is always compliant with the security standards of the ISO 27001.

I look into the Security & Data Compliance which is managing information security and protection of data flows in the company.

I also look into the Product Development which is managing the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring the product is stable, secure and always aligned with the company's vision. This includes writing code in Next.js and Node.js, collaborating with the team, and managing the development pipelines.

Maintaining the Infrastructure is also a part of my role. I ensure that the application is always up and running, and the infrastructure is always working reliably. This includes working with AWS services like EC2, ECS-Fargate, S3 etc. Managing DNS with Cloudflare and setting up the CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions.
